I would like to introduce myself, my name is Frances Duggan and I am from Claregalway, Co. Galway.

After years of experience planning & executing large community events, I realised that my energy on what I love doing most: is Planning Weddings., I have graciously enjoyed offering my Wedding Consultancy Services to friends and family along the way, and I have met and helped amazing couples on their journey to getting married. . I count myself very lucky to have made great friends along the way. To be able to promote Ireland as a Destination Wedding location and show couples abroad the romance and magic that our country can really offer is also a great privilege. I am passionate about detail & planning and love the creative challenge of working with couples to find new and unique ways to celebrate each relationship. In addition, I am also calm under pressure and will do everything in my power to make your worries disappear. CAREER HISTORY

An exceptional events professional who is highly organised, and competent and makes things happen. Frances has a leadership style that motivates and engages others in a positive way. WEDDING EVENT MANAGER – January 2013 - present

Responsible for being the central contact for all staff involved in the planning of an event, and for delivering events on time, to budget and to the highest standard.

Duties;

  • Producing detailed proposals for event timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing and budgets.

  • Finding suitable and commercially viable venues for events.

  • Working with marketing teams to publicise events.

  • Managing customer relationships.

  • Building strong, loyal customer relationships at a senior level with key customers.

  • Managing promotional days, launch activity and material distribution.

  • Dealing with Health & Safety issues as well as Risk Assessments.

  • Researching markets to identify opportunities for events.

  • Negotiating with the event organisers.
